WHY WE SWIM

1 in every 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Your contribution to this event will help women receive the treatment and resources they need to overcome breast cancer.

Come help us Drown Out Breast Cancer! The Metea Valley Girls Swimming and Diving Team will be Drown Out Breast Cancer 2023 to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation on October 9th from 10:15-11:15 am in the Metea Valley Pool.

All are welcome to watch, and all students are welcome to participate. Admission will be $10 for spectators. Participants will sign up in teams of 4-8 to participate in some exciting relays!

We are also selling T-shirts for $15 and caps for $7. Please order these by September 20th. 

​If you cannot watch or participate, you can still make a donation to our Zelle linked on the home page. All of our proceeds will go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to help with their mission to provide support to those affected by breast cancer as well as fundraising for the Metea Valley Girls Swim and Dive Team.
